Ingredients:

  • 3 ripe plantains (about 500g peeled)
  • 500g all purpose flour
  • Pepper mix (to taste)
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1/3 cup water

Instructions:

  1. Prep: Peel and cut the ripe plantains.
  2. Blend: Blend the plantains, pepper mix, and a little water until smooth.
  3. Transfer: Transfer the blended mixture to a bowl.
  4. Add Flour: Add flour and a pinch of salt. Mix to form a thick dough.
  5. Knead: Add water a little at a time and knead until you get a soft, smooth dough.
  6. Shape: Scoop or shape into small balls.
  7. Fry: Fry in hot oil on medium heat until golden brown.
  8. Serve: Remove and drain on a paper towel. Serve warm!
